Home again home again...

So I survived the last week of finals and made it back home. I really need a break from people, I haven't had one since spring break my freshman year. I'm working for my parents this summer on our ranch, so I should be able to regain my sanity for a few months before being dragged back to Kansas City in August. I'm sooooooooo glad to be out of the city though. I can actually see the horizon and see the stars.

My parents are driving me crazy already though. I'm too used to being able to do what I want when I want, and they still treat me like I'm 16. I guess I should enjoy it while I can, because it won't be so easy after college, but holy crap they get annoying. As the song says, you can't always get what you want...

If i had more than two weeks of work left, i'd probably run away from home. Fortunately, there's only 9 days left, so i should survive without going insane.

Too insane anyway...
I was about ready to gleefully murder the asst manager this morning; he told me yesterday there was a CTL (shift manager) meeting today at 8am. I woke up to go to it, and locked myself out the the apt on the way out, having to pop out the screen to get back in, since ALL of my keys are on the same keyring... and only to get to work and find out that there was no meeting. bleh
